2016: A Year in Landscaping
2016 has brought us a lot of sun, high winds, and heat. Summer lasted a little longer, Fall was a little longer, and here is hoping Winter lasts a little shorter! Election year made everyone want to be outside a little more to get away from the commercials and the bickering on television.
Living in Michigan, we enjoy the 4 seasons. As landscapers, we really enjoy the 4-seasons.
Such a beautiful time for us. Everything is coming back to life after a long winter, birds are singing, trees are blooming, and your landscape is ready to breathe and awaken again!
This year Spring was warmer than most, but it also was windy! Which, thank to Quality Tree Services, we were able to help all our loyal customers as well as gaining new customers! Quality Tree Services staffs professional climbers & arborists. For more information, follow this link at www.qualitytreemi.com
Torrential rainfalls will keep calls coming in for trenches & drain pipes!
2016 was one of the hottest summers on record! We know, we worked outside everyday! Temperatures climbed into to 90’s weekly, sometimes 100 in some places. Extended droughts brought in a lot more irrigation business, and people were considering landscaping makeovers more and installing pools are now at the top of the list!
From Pond installations, to lawn services, to complete landscaping designs, it has been a beautiful summer with old friends, new friends, and people we met for the 1st time! We are looking forward to building stronger relationships with you in the future. Our law services range from residential to commercials. From mowing to areation. Berns Landscaping is the ONE-STOP shop for all landscaping designs.
We were unseasonably warm this fall, and it kept our lawn service in full swing a few extra weeks than normal. The fall leaves did not start falling until recently and we are anticipating doing fall clean-ups well into December! It has been pleasant having holiday lighting in this unseasonably warm weather!
Holiday Lighting started early this year as well due to the warm fall. Customers were getting their holiday lights installed as early as Nov. 1st. ( I think it was close to 70 degrees that day!)
Well, Winter is approaching. Winter is a time where most landscaping companies are closing shop, heading down to Florida to bask in the sun until Spring…. NOT US! We are just getting started!! Our fleet of trucks, loaders, trailers, and plows are gassed up, loaded up, and ready to go! We mean business. We plow with 1 inch and shovel sidewalks with 1/2 inch. Our quality in attention to detail sets us apart from a lot of competitors… we don’t “need” to play ~ we WANT to plow!
Bring it on Winter!
